6. Mid-Autumn Festival Game: Coconut Pineapple Jackfruit Game
For a long time, ''Coconut Pineapple Jackfruit Game'' has been considered a familiar game for children in the North and is often organized every Mid-Autumn Festival. Number of players: 8 people, aged around 8-13.
How to play:
- In the group, one child will be selected as the ''holder'' standing outside, while the other children stand in a horizontal line and are named in order of 7 types of fruits: Coconut - Pineapple - Jackfruit - Coconut - Melon - Peach - Sapodilla. Each child stands independently and extends both hands behind their back, intertwining them to create a bowl shape. About 10 - 15m from this line, draw a straight line to serve as the finish line.
- The game starts when the ''holder'' child holds a small ball or fruit, unexpectedly placing it in the bowl of one of the remaining 7 children. The receiving child must quickly run to the finish line, while the two people on each side try to block. If this child reaches the finish line, they can call out the name of any fruit to carry themselves back. Once back to the starting position, the game will be repeated.
Note that the child must not drop the ball or be held back. If either of these happens, the child must return to the starting position.

7. Mid-Autumn Festival Game: Dance to the Music
This is a quite interesting game that will definitely attract the children. The rules are very simple: the host will select a group of small children, maybe around 7 or 8, to come up on stage. According to folklore, the Lion Dance on the Mid-Autumn night symbolizes the appearance of Kylin (a mythical creature that appears only when a Saint is born or during peaceful prosperous times), as well as the wish for national peace and prosperity, and for every household to encounter good luck.For children, the Lion Dance is always eagerly awaited every Mid-Autumn Festival. There's nothing more appropriate than having the Lion Dance as the opening act before starting the games and cultural performances on the Mid-Autumn night. To help children perform beautiful and rhythmic Lion Dances correctly, parents/teachers should prepare the following items: a medium-sized drum, lion masks, Ong Dia (a mythical character), and Thanh Tai (God of Wealth). At the same time, guide the children into their roles and run around to the drumbeat to create the most lively atmosphere possible.
