Just a few days left until WWDC23, happening at 0:00 on June 6th, Vietnam time. At this event, Apple will introduce new software updates including iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 10, and other hardware devices. iOS 17 remains highly anticipated this year, despite minimal changes. Here are some intriguing concepts I've found and want to share with you.

Concept 1: Icon Redesign and Music Lyrics Display on Widgets

First Concept: UI Tweaks and Enhanced Widget Interaction

Concept 2: Synchronized Notification Pop-ups and Dynamic Island

In the second concept, users may notice features such as changing notification pop-ups to black and seamlessly integrating them with Dynamic Island. This seems useful and practical, especially when using iPhone 14 Pro, where notifications often get pushed down due to the 'stuck' Dynamic Island. Additionally, in this concept, iOS 17 also incorporates a feature that many iPhone users have been anticipating: split-screen functionality similar to Android phones. Personally, I don't find this necessary as current phone screens are too small for me to run multiple windows effectively.

Concept 3: Dynamic Island as Drag-and-Drop Clipboard

In my view, the third concept is one that Apple needs to consider to enhance UX on iOS 17. Users may notice that this concept corresponds to a recent rumor about iOS 17 redesigning the Control Center interface. While it looks visually appealing, I believe it may sometimes be less convenient as most users are accustomed to vertical swiping rather than horizontal swiping as depicted in the concept. Additionally, the concept also showcases a new feature that I haven't seen any rumors about, which is the ability to drag and drop files onto Dynamic Island. This is truly an innovative and necessary idea, where users can drag and drop files to store them on Dynamic Island like a clipboard (similar to Android) and retrieve them when needed.

Concept 5: Manual Camera Settings and Third-Party App Installation

This is the final concept and perhaps the most Android-inspired. This concept brings two features currently present on Android to iOS 17: manual camera adjustments and third-party app installation. Regarding the manual camera adjustment feature, one interesting addition is the inclusion of a slider for adjusting shadow similar to Pixel phones. As for installing third-party apps, the files have the .ipa extension and require Apple's confirmation through a pop-up on Dynamic Island.

Recently, I compiled some concepts after browsing through YouTube. Of course, these are just ideas from various creators and not confirmed features of iOS 17. Nonetheless, they provide an exciting glimpse into what iOS 17 could potentially offer. Personally, I'm eagerly anticipating features like clipboard functionality, interactive widgets, icon customization, and more from Apple.
