According to insights shared by Mark Gurman with Bloomberg, the M2 Max chip will offer a 12-core CPU, while the M1 Max only sports a 10-core CPU. Additionally, the GPU of the M2 Max will be ramped up to 38 cores, a boost from the current 32 cores.

While some speculation hinted at an OLED display introduction as early as 2022, recent sources suggest that OLED technology will be delayed until 2024.
