The Pixel 7 has been officially released, and details about the Pixel 7a are starting to surface. The Amazon app now provides an option for users to sign up for notifications about the introduction of the 'Google Pixel 7a family,' indicating that the launch date of the new device may be closer than expected and there may be more than one version.

Previous reports have suggested that the Pixel 7a, codenamed 'Felix' (with 'Panther' for 7 and 'Cheetah' for 7 Pro), may feature a smaller screen compared to the regular 7, possibly around 6 – 6.1 inches. Regarding variants, both the 5a and 6a were equipped with 5G, so the names of the 7a variants may no longer include the '5G' suffix. Could we expect Pixel 7a and 7a XL models?
