Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, the beloved sequel to the iconic puzzle crossover game, merges the iconic Japanese puzzle game with the globally renowned Tetris to create something fresh for both series. Puyo Puyo presents challenging puzzles where strategic thinking and precise Puyo arrangement are key to creating combos and sending Garbage Puyos to wreak havoc on opponents.
Tetris brings forth a different set of skills. Well-thought-out and executed moves often lead to creative plays that can outpace opponents, disrupting their plans by burying their game board in Garbage Blocks. This next installment refreshes the formula with the addition of Skill Battle mode, new online play features, and more.
The Skill Battle mode brings a RPG-inspired twist to the classic puzzle showdown. Form a team of 3 from 28 characters to assemble a Puyo Puyo or Tetris team. Each character possesses a unique skill such as altering Puyo colors, weakening opponent attacks, changing the shape of falling Tetriminos, and more.
Each character starts with a unique and unparalleled skill, gaining even more powerful skills as they level up. Choosing characters with complementary skills is a crucial strategy for winning in Skill Battle matches. The battle continues as long as each team has HP remaining, but if your HP hits rock bottom, the match ends.
Embark on a new adventure
The worlds of Puyo Puyo and Tetris collide once again in a completely fresh adventure, introducing new characters and the return of many familiar faces. Players will navigate the world map offering branching options while undertaking various special missions, testing their puzzle-solving abilities in different game modes of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, including Skill Battle.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 promises to deliver a rich online experience for both casual players and competitive enthusiasts. Special Puzzle Leagues in Puyo Puyo, Tetris, Puyo Puyo vs Tetris, and Skill Battle allow you to compete with top players worldwide. Additionally, there's a Free Play mode if you prefer to engage in more relaxed competitions without the pressure of rankings. This option supports all rule sets, letting you invite your friends to play together with customizable match settings.
