Oda clarified misconceptions about the Navy's SWORD unit in SBS episode 107. Contrary to popular belief, all SWORD members still belong to the Navy. They may even be promoted, but resignation requests are not immediately accepted.

Oda also revealed the story of Ensign Hibari and her affection for Captain Koby stemming from a past heroic act, when he rescued a bear she cherished despite great danger. The bear, now named Koby-Senpai, serves as a reminder of this courageous deed.

Luffy's Hidden Dream
