According to recently disclosed information, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen episode 1 is slated to run for approximately one hour. Some sources also indicate that the Red Light District Arc will span across 11 episodes.
In this tale, we'll follow the footsteps of Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps as they venture forth in search of and battle against Upper Moon Six. With the first episode clocking in at 1-hour duration, we'll delve deeper into the transformations undergone by Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke following Rengoku's sacrifice. Upon their return, Tanjiro pays a visit to the father of Flame Pillar to deliver the news. Instead of sympathy, the father spares no bitterness in his words regarding Rengoku. Furthermore, upon learning of Tanjiro's ability to wield the Sun Breathing technique, he imparts a lethal technique. Tanjiro then converses with Flame Pillar's sibling before departing with a protective charm for the Flame Pillar's sword. With hearts burdened by grief, the group will train rigorously and embark on perilous missions in the Red Light District alongside Flame Pillar Uzui Tengen.
