Image quality has been significantly enhanced.
Subject brightness in backlight conditions has been improved.

Notably, according to DxOMark, the Galaxy Note9 performs exceptionally well in various photography conditions addressed in the software update. For instance, its contrast range and low-light capturing ability are highly praised in testing. However, the issue of facial shadowing in backlight situations is critiqued by DxOMark in this large-screen phablet, and Samsung has acknowledged their feedback.
Unfortunately, even with all weaknesses addressed, the tech giant from the land of kimchi couldn't boost the score for the Galaxy Note9. Nevertheless, Samsung still has the right to be proud as their spiritual child maintains the second position on the leaderboard, on par with the HTC U12+ and only trailing behind the Huawei P20 Pro.

That being said, this is still exciting news for photography enthusiasts who own the Note9. Its already outstanding camera is about to become even more fantastic - that is if this update operates effectively.
