If you've been playing PUBG Mobile for a while, you must know that Erangel is the oldest map in the game, and the game initially launched with Erangel as the only map option. Now, after a year since PUBG Mobile's release, Erangel 2.0 and The Walking Dead are exciting new additions coming in the upcoming update.

Changes in PUBG Mobile's Erangel 2.0
Here are the notable changes we can expect to see in the new Erangel 2.0 map compared to the old Erangel:
- Improved graphics, higher contrast, sharper details, and more realistic colors for an immersive gaming experience.
- Various structures have been added to previously empty areas. For example, the beach area now has additional locations providing new spots for players.
- All buildings and cities have been enhanced for better structure and detail, both inside and out.
- Various structures have been added in places like Military, Mylta, and Prison. Additionally, the island near Kameshki has been relocated closer to Yasnaya Polyana.
PUBG Mobile x The Walking Dead
PUBG Mobile has finally confirmed its collaboration with The Walking Dead, one of the renowned American television series. As we all know, a new Zombie mode, specifically the 'Infection Mode,' arrived in the PUBG Mobile 0.14.0 update, allowing players to play as zombies and infect others to turn them into zombies. This adds more weight to the collaboration with The Walking Dead. The collaboration will also bring costumes based on The Walking Dead, enhanced weapons, and more.
Introducing a New Server
Currently, PUBG Mobile operates 6 different servers located across various regions including Asia, Europe, North America, South America, KRJP, and the Middle East. Adding a dedicated server for a region can make gameplay smoother and provide stability. If a player from the Asia region plays on any other server, they will experience significantly higher ping, making gameplay difficult.
Now, with PUBG Mobile attracting a higher number of players from Africa, the developers are introducing an African server. This move not only enhances the PUBG Mobile experience for African players but also attracts more users from that region.
Several changes mentioned above will be crucial for PUBG Mobile players. The Erangel 2.0 map, collaboration with The Walking Dead introducing a new mode, and the addition of an African server will make PUBG Mobile more enticing and appealing to players than ever before.
