According to sources on Engadget, leaked new code indicates that Fortnite for Android will be exclusively released on the Samsung app store. This information once again confirms recent reports about the famous survival game from Epic being released exclusively on Galaxy Note9 and Tab S4 for a period of time.
Android users can still download Fortnite and install it via the Samsung app store, or they can sideload the APK file on other Android devices. A small note is that the game runs exclusively on Tab S4 or Note 9 devices.

Google allows Epic to release the game through the Google Play store without charging the company 30% of user app purchases. Samsung also offers a similar fee reduction. Clearly, this is not the only reason Epic is bypassing the Google app market.
