Shortly after, I stumbled upon leaks related to its successor, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, and I also have some expectations for this Xiaomi tablet. Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro concept maintains a familiar design but with changes in the rear camera cluster

Upon looking at Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, I had a sense of familiarity as the exterior design of the device wasn't significantly different from its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro (except for the rear camera cluster). Therefore, I believe Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro won't undergo many design changes compared to previous generations. I'm okay with that because the design language of the Xiaomi Pad series remains attractive at the moment.

However, I still hope Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will have changes in the design of the rear camera cluster compared to its predecessor. If people notice, Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a camera cluster similar to the Xiaomi 13 Series. Therefore, when looking at the back of Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, I feel the overall design of the back panel isn't very consistent. Hence, I want the successor generation to have a camera cluster made in the same color as the back panel to bring consistency to the device's design.

On the front side of Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, I hope the device maintains its 11-inch screen size, 2.8K resolution (2,880 x 1,800 pixels), and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. These are impressive specifications for a tablet, promising users a sharp display and a smooth touch experience. What I think Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro should improve is optimizing the thinness of the bezels around the screen to provide a more spacious display for users.

Furthermore, I hope Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro continues to be equipped with various accessories such as a keyboard or a stylus. Of course, Xiaomi should improve these accessories to ensure better sensitivity and stable connectivity with the tablet.

Currently, Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is receiving much praise for its performance as it is equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Therefore, I expect Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro in the future to be equipped with a higher-end processor, namely the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, which is soon to be unveiled by Qualcomm. This promises to be an incredibly powerful chip for smartphones or tablets in the coming time.

Furthermore, I believe premium tablets like Xiaomi 7 Pro should have ample internal space to allow Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 to unleash its power without overheating the device. Therefore, I hope Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be further improved in terms of cooling capabilities. Additionally, I think Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro should offer an option for 1 TB of internal storage to provide users with more choices for storing large amounts of data.

Additionally, I hope Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be powered by an 8,800 mAh battery, a slight upgrade from the 8,600 mAh on Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. A large battery, combined with efficient power consumption optimization from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip, will provide users with long-lasting usage. Moreover, I think Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro should be equipped with 90 W fast charging capability to save time when charging the device.

How much will Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro cost? When will Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro be launched?

I hope Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro can maintain the starting price from 8.5 million dong, similar to Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro (8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory version priced at 2,499 RMB). Additionally, I think Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro could be unveiled in April 2024, which is a similar timeframe to its predecessor (Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro launched in April 2023).
