There are numerous Rooftop bars offering stunning cityscape views. However, finding one right in the heart of district 1, sandwiched between Bitexco and Ben Thanh Market, surrounded by million-dollar skyscrapers, is quite rare.
Despite its prime location, this gem of a Rooftop bar boasting top-notch views is nestled at 145-147 Ly Tu Trong, Q1. Its central location makes it easily accessible for all.

The ambiance of this place exudes a vibrant and contemporary style. Its open-air layout creates a refreshing breeze, truly delightful.
Here are some hastily snapped photos from my evening visit, all shimmering and captivating. If you're seeking a romantic spot, I highly recommend this place. There are a few tables by the transparent balcony, incredibly romantic.
On that day, we indulged in a variety of dishes: Grilled bamboo chicken, Grilled combo, Thai-style shrimp, Sashimi,... I applaud the culinary aesthetics of the chef. Each dish is beautifully decorated, incredibly appealing.
First up, we have the Thai Sauce Shrimp – priced at 300K, which might seem a tad high compared to other places I've been to. However, given the exquisite ambiance and prime location, I find this price range reasonable!
Though pricey, the shrimp here is fresh and sizable, generously coated with super spicy Thai sauce. Eating it not only brings out the freshness and juiciness of the shrimp but also the tingling spiciness of the sauce. This dish pairs perfectly with a cold beer for a great drinking session!
Next up is the main course that we absolutely adored. The 4-Type Grilled Combo and the Salted Chili Bamboo Chicken Platter.
Grilled Combo – priced at 850K
Featuring 4 types of meat and seafood: Scallop, Green Mussel, BBQ Pork Ribs, and Fuji Beef, accompanied by a side of greens and salad.
The grilled dishes with melted cheese topping are absolutely delightful, with golden cheese covering the scallops and mussels, creating a rich and savory cheese flavor. The seafood items are all plump, juicy, and bursting with flavor.
As for the grilled beef and pork ribs, they're really satisfying! The beef used here is Fuji beef, so the meat is tender, fragrant, and succulent, with no dryness whatsoever. Each bite of the grilled ribs is packed with juicy goodness, soaking up the sauce wonderfully.
Grilled Salted Chili Bamboo Chicken ½ a chicken – priced at 239K
The golden grilled chicken is coated in a savory and spicy salted chili sauce, just right in terms of flavor. What I love about the grilled chicken here is the tender and juicy meat, complemented by the crispy golden skin and flavorful sauce. It's truly addictive!
For those who prefer a bolder flavor, you can dip it in green chili salt!
A portion of squid salad with passion fruit sauce – priced at 298K, perfect for balancing out the richness of the meal.
Lastly, we have the sashimi set, the Five Sashimi Combo – priced at 550K
Savor the Sashimi platter featuring 5 types of fresh raw fish: salmon, pressed roe fish, octopus, red clam, and scallop.
The fresh and delicious scallop portion boasts large and tender meat, biting into it releases a creamy richness. As for the other seafood varieties, I find them of excellent quality as well.
Each slice of sashimi is cut thick, offering a delightful burst of freshness and crispness with every bite.
In addition to serving beer and soft drinks, Khói Rooftop 145 also offers wine service. Those who enjoy beer can also order canned beer here, currently on sale for only 29K.
The venue also offers VIP rooms for those who wish to host intimate and private gatherings.
