While we're at it, let me tell you why I chose Moc Thai Ha's hot pot for two instead of other romantic meal sets.
First off, because my bestie and I aren't lovers, ordering a romantic set feels... odd! Let's just go for a pot for two - lovers or friends, everyone's covered! It's convenient for family outings too, with parents, siblings, friends, and everyone else joining in for a meal!
Plus point: No filler meat and they serve my favorite shredded banana blossom!
Second reason, also the simplest and most direct reason, is because this place serves delicious hot pot, renowned throughout the Thai Ha area. The first time I came here to eat was because I heard their crab and beef shank hot pot was recently voted into the top 4 best crab hot pots in Hanoi. Tried it and Moc Thai Ha didn't disappoint! The meat is fresh and plentiful, not filled with unnecessary greens underneath like many other places - so I give Moc a plus point for... honesty. Also, they serve shredded banana blossom here - a dish I love but few hot pot places have, so Moc gets another plus point from me. And thirdly, the crab here is truly special, seems like it's 100% authentic as the 'word on the street' suggests.

After that initial great impression, I find myself returning to Moc Thai Ha again and again, trying out a new hot pot each time. My top three favorites so far are the crab and beef shank hot pot, vinegar chicken hot pot, and duck and snake hot pot. I highly recommend giving them a try whenever you get the chance!
