Cù Lao Chàm (commonly known as Chiêm Bất Lao) spans approximately 15 square kilometers with a population of over 2950. The island cluster belongs to Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, situated 15km east from the mainland.

Cù Lao Chàm is the main island, the largest in size, surrounded by 8 smaller islets forming an arch. The rich ecosystem in Cù Lao Chàm sustains the livelihood of the locals and attracts tourists alike.

From the mainland, travelers reach the island by speedboat or underwater scooter. On the island, the most convenient means of transportation is none other than a motorbike. With a motorbike, you can explore the untouched beauty and the friendly locals in a day of adventure at Cù Lao Chàm.

Cù Lao Cham boasts a year-round cool climate, making it an ideal destination for both domestic and international travelers planning to explore.

At Bai Lang, don't miss the Hai Tang Pagoda. This ancient religious structure, built in the 18th century, caters to the spiritual needs of the island's inhabitants.

Next, visit the seafood market on the island, where a variety of marine treasures awaits. Diving to admire coral reefs and schools of fish is an incredible experience. The coral reefs at Bai Chong are considered beautiful and rare in the waters of Vietnam, so please refrain from touching them too vigorously to contribute to their preservation.
