Bigo Live distinguishes itself with both similarities and differences compared to live streaming on Facebook. The app not only supports online streaming but also allows users to watch live videos from others. 1. Enjoying Live Streams on Bigo Live
Step 1: First, make sure you have a Bigo Live account
- Refer to the guide on how to register for a Bigo Live account.
Step 2: On the main interface of the app, you will see other Bigo Live accounts currently streaming live for users to watch and follow. Simply select each user icon to view their account.
You can join conversations with many other users on Bigo Live, send gifts to live streamers, or even register to become a Bigo LIVE IDOL to enter the world of showbiz.
2. Broadcasting Live on Bigo Live
Step 1: To broadcast your personal live stream on Bigo Live, click the camera icon in the center of the frame in step 1.
Step 2: Enter the name of your live stream channel. Note that you can use Vietnamese, English, with or without accents. Press Go Live to start broadcasting.
- To chat with your followers and viewers during the live stream, simply tap the icon at the bottom left of the screen to open the chat box, then type your message and hit the Send button.
- In particular, users can customize their front or rear camera settings while live streaming on Bigo Live by tapping the icon at the bottom right of the screen. Choose the rotate camera icon, enable flash by clicking the lightning bolt icon, or use the beauty mode at the bottom.
Step 3: If you no longer want to live stream, just click the 'X' at the top right of the screen. Then, press Sure in the pop-up to exit the Bigo Live live stream.
After ending the live stream, users will receive statistics on viewership, new fan registrations, likes, and beans earned. Press Home to return to the main interface.
It's known that Bigo Live bears some resemblance to Facebook or many other social networks; however, while Facebook is a comprehensive social network, Bigo Live is merely a straightforward online streaming service.
