Find X3 Pro is the first OPPO phone to receive the ColorOS 12 upgrade right upon its user interface launch. Built on the Android 12 platform, it brings a fresh interface, ensuring stable and smooth performance, bringing in many new features to maximize the hardware capabilities. After a few days of use, here are some standout features that I liked and discovered on ColorOS 12.
USER INTERFACE
Improved User Interface
OPPO stated that they have refined colors and adjusted information density, simplifying the layout to highlight key information and make it easier to read. Additionally, some layout changes include:
- Increased Spacing: Reduced information density
- Readable Layout: Larger font size and higher contrast between texts
- Priority Colors: Bright colors to highlight key information and dark colors for supplementary information

OMOJI Feature
Omoji is a 3D animated emoticon feature. Developed by the Face Capture algorithm, Omoji allows you to express your personality when messaging through personalized emoticon images.
Thanks to Face Capture, you can see Omoji simulate facial movements and changes in your emotions. Omoji provides us with various options for skin, hair, eyes, nose, as well as accessories.
Users can utilize Omoji as a profile cover photo or add Omoji to the lock screen (Always-On Display).Lock Screen (AOD) 2.0

Since ColorOS 11, AOD has allowed users to create lock screens with various options depending on preferences.Theme System Based on Wallpaper
ColorOS 12 integrates many native features of Android 12 such as the Material You wallpaper interface, inheriting features that have appeared in previous versions of ColorOS.
Do you want to see your creativity applied across the entire operating system interface? All you need to do is change the wallpaper, and the system will identify the color theme and apply it to the entire phone.Highlighted Utilities
Battery Management Interface

Quick Launch Feature
This feature in ColorOS 12 deserves high praise. It allows us to swiftly open any app right after unlocking the screen by swiping our finger to the pre-set positions of those apps. For instance, I can quickly launch Google Maps while standing on the street, without the hassle of unlocking my phone, navigating through apps, wasting time, and dealing with phone lags.FlexDrop Window
FlexDrop was first introduced in ColorOS 11, facilitating multitasking more efficiently and effortlessly, significantly enhancing work productivity and user experience. With FlexDrop, app windows can be resized into smaller or mini windows for managing multiple apps simultaneously. Afterwards, you can seamlessly switch between different apps with just one tap.Screen Translation
This feature comes in extremely handy when you need to read an English document. Simply drag the sidebar, tap on screen translation, and all the English text or any other language will be translated into Vietnamese. I use this feature quite frequently on my OPPO device. Instead of copying text from the document to other translation tools, now the process is much simpler.UPGRADE IN SECURITY
Integration of 100% Android 12 security features
Privacy permission management interface: With clear charts displaying data access permissions and phone features, users can easily monitor and prevent apps from accessing data without consent.Notification for Camera & Microphone Usage: When an app wants to access the camera or microphone, a blinking icon will appear on the status bar to always remind about this.Relative Location Sharing: You only need to provide your approximate location to apps to protect privacy while still being able to use essential features.USER EXPERIENCE
Quantum Animation Tool 3.0
In ColorOS 12, OPPO has strived to emulate the motion of objects just like in the real world. They have introduced quite a few different concepts, but simply put, it goes like this:Virtual Resistance: Screen swiping gestures are simulated with realistic motion based on the user's swiping speed. The faster the swipe, the faster the screen scrolls.Inertia Effect: Items on the screen exhibit inertia just like in the real world. When users move a floating window on the screen, the window continues to move even after the finger leaves the screen, gradually stopping as if there's virtual inertia.Virtual Press Force: ColorOS 12 responds to every user action. Even when performing an action that doesn't yield a result (such as pressing the delete button without entering text), the press effect simulating a spring will indicate that the user's action has been acknowledged.Enhanced AI System
Analyzing user habits to perform necessary operational optimizations, ensuring smooth app operations. In experiments conducted on a laboratory scale, OPPO stated that AI helped reduce RAM usage by 30%, extending average battery life by 12%.GPA 2.0
GPA 2.0 is a system optimization technology designed to improve frame rate stability when gaming.GPA 2.0 analyzes factors causing phone heating, such as energy usage and CPU/GPU load, while predicting temperature changes in the next 5 seconds using smart AI algorithms. If the system predicts a temperature increase, it will automatically reduce the frame rate within a stable range, easing pressure on the GPU and CPU, thus preventing lag and overheating issues.Refer to the link here for more information.
