Gaming giant EA has officially confirmed the third part of the entertaining series featuring plant combat against the undead - Plants vs Zombies. Currently in the final stages of development and set to launch very soon, this marks EA's first new game release since acquiring the original developer PopCap Games.

The third installment will bring some refreshing changes to the visual design but will still maintain the inherent charm of this gaming series. EA has also announced the release of the Pre-Alpha version, a trial edition of Plants vs Zombies 3 exclusively available on Android devices for users to experience early and provide feedback. No payment or fees are associated with the Pre-Alpha version, and only a limited number of players can join this early preview.
If you're unable to access the Alpha version at the moment, don't worry because EA has plans for additional testing phases. While no additional information has been provided about the testing version for iOS, PC, PS4, or Xbox One, PC players can still use Android emulators to early-test the Pre-Alpha version.
