The allure of the flower trees attracts an increasing number of tourists to Ladysmith, Canada, especially during the blooming season. This contributes to boosting the town's tourism. 'In other seasons, when the leaves are fully green, the maple trees appear like any other ancient trees,' Rob said.

According to Rob, many mistakenly refer to it as a tree trunk, but in reality, it's a shrub. The flower tree is affectionately called by the nickname 'Lady Cynthia.'
This famous maple tree is believed to have been brought to Canada on a ship from Scotland. Currently, 'Lady Cynthia' is 115 years old and is expected to bloom in a few weeks, with an estimated 4,000 flowers showing off their colors together.
The Ladysmith authorities hope this is an opportunity to attract a surge of Canadian tourists here, but also advise visitors to take a stroll around the town, as there are many other beautiful maple trees. Additionally, there are various flowers and trees planted throughout the streets of the town and in private gardens.
