In early October, the terraced fields undergo a transformation from the vibrant yellow of ripe rice to the subtle pink hues of budding Triangle Flowers. By mid-October, some buds have already blossomed, intertwining with the green of the leaves. Thriving in dry, rocky areas like the Ha Giang plateau, here, the local Mong or Lo Lo ethnic groups cultivate Triangle Flowers for making cakes, soaking in alcohol, medicinal purposes, and more.

Phó Bảng: Phó Bảng stands as one of the two towns in Đồng Văn District, bordering the west of Sủng Là. Nestled on the Dong Van Karst Plateau, it is located 117km away from Hà Giang City. This is a familiar destination for many Ha Giang tours due to its ancient and peaceful beauty. Here, hills adorned with triangle buckwheat flowers on high mountains blend with fields of pink roses, creating a landscape that resembles a mythical fairyland.

Lũng Cú: The northernmost region of the country in Đồng Văn District, renowned for the Lung Cu Flagpole, is also an area with vibrant displays of triangle buckwheat flowers. Although it lacks the grandeur of towering mountains like the previous three locations, the abundance of triangle buckwheat flowers, with the season extending until December or early January in the Gregorian calendar, makes it noteworthy.

Yet, if you seek to marvel at the beauty of Ha Giang during the buckwheat season, this is an ideal destination.

Xin Man: While Dong Van is the most renowned area for cultivating buckwheat flowers, Xin Man district in the western part of Ha Giang province is also an ideal destination to admire this floral spectacle.
