Suoi Nghe Sheep Hill is a stunning sheep field located in Suoi Nghe Commune, Chau Duc District, Vung Tau, which has recently become a 'hot' spot among young people. It attracts visitors because besides taking photos with cute white sheep in the green grassy landscape, you can also admire the simple and intimate scenery reminiscent of somewhere in the Western lands, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, shedding all worries.

Furthermore, raising sheep is not an easy task because although sheep grow quite fast and have few diseases, they are not originally from tropical regions, so caring for them is quite difficult and requires careful attention, meticulousness, and caution, much like caring for children. Indeed, these sheep were only brought to Vietnam during the French colonial period.

Where is Vung Tau Sheep Hill?
Driving over 70km along National Highway 51 towards Vung Tau, passing Phat Linh Pagoda, turning left onto Hoi Bai - Chau Pha Road and driving a bit further, you will reach a place that is attracting a lot of young people, Suoi Nghe Sheep Field. Therefore, you can easily travel here by motorbike or bus.

If you go by motorbike, you can take the route from Ho Chi Minh City along National Highway 51, turn left at the Hoi Bai - Chau Pha intersection and go straight for 9.9km, then continue straight onto Extended Road No.1 for 3.5km, and finally continue straight on Road No.1 for another 1.9km to reach Suoi Nghe Sheep Field.

For those opting to travel by motorbike, make sure you are equipped with sunscreen, face masks, gloves, and all necessary documents to ensure an uninterrupted journey. As for those choosing to travel by bus, the bus fare from Saigon to Vung Tau is around 150,000 VND with a travel time of about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

This place used to be a barren and dry land so the locals decided to utilize it to raise sheep and let them graze here primarily for selling meat and wool. Not long after, the sheep hill suddenly became famous and young people flocked here to take photos, explore, and even couples chose this place as their wedding photo shoot location.

Suoi Nghe Sheep Hill has about 3 flocks of sheep, each flock consisting of about 150 sheep, but the most preferred photo spot for tourists is Sister Lien's flock and Brother Thanh's flock.

Visitors here will be charged 50,000-100,000 VND per person/round trip depending on the number of people in the group, whether for wedding photoshoots or graduation photos.

Because sheep are fed grass and live naturally, they are very shy, so if you rush into the flock to take photos, they will get scared and run away, so you should ask the farmers for help or move gently. Another thing to note is that sheep are not allowed to roam freely in the field all day, so you should visit the sheep hill during two time slots: 8-10 am and 3-4 pm.
