The Bach Long elevator features a transparent glass structure built alongside the quartzite cliffs in the scenic area of Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie National Park, Hubei Province, China.

Perched over 300m above sea level, the Bach Long elevator boasts a running height of 326m. It comprises a lofty mountain shaft of 154m and a steel structure spanning 172m, capable of ferrying 50 passengers per trip. The Bach Long elevator also utilizes entirely toughened glass materials.


From the elevator's summit, visitors can marvel at the spectacular aerial landscape, encompassing the lush greenery of Zhangjiajie National Park. At this altitude, visitors step onto the summit of the quartzite cliffs – the very inspiration behind the scenery of the Pandora Hallelujah Mountain Range in the blockbuster film Avatar produced by Hollywood.


The construction cost of the Bach Long elevator in China amounts to 19 million USD. Since its opening, the destination has provided absolute safety for over 35 million visitors. On average, the Bach Long elevator serves about 1,380 passengers per hour. The project is also equipped with a laser system and underground tunnels for emergency evacuation in case of seismic risk.
