The presence of Flappy Bird in the gaming industry has brought new hope to game development. After six months of being removed from app stores, Nguyen Ha Dong has brought Flappy Bird back to life, but not on familiar platforms like the App Store or Google Play, but rather on the Amazon AppStore - a platform with a more selective user base.

With this new version, the game's name has also been changed to Flappy Birds Family. The app's name also reflects its message; users can now not only play individually but also engage with family or friends. The new Flappy Bird features a multiplayer mode where, besides navigating through pipes, players must also evade ghosts. Users of Fire TV can play using remote controls.
In the single-player mode, users navigate through pipes to score points. However, in this version, there are additional floating orbs guarded by flying ghosts, and players must collect them for bonus points.
Furthermore, this gameplay includes a multiplayer mode where the screen is split into two parts, allowing each player to control a different bird on the same flight path with three lives each. Points are tallied after each round, with points awarded for successfully passing obstacles like pipes. Notably, in this new version, if a bird accidentally collides with a pipe, it gains the ability to temporarily phase through obstacles, but no points are awarded during these instances.
Overall, Flappy Birds Family retains the core elements of the original version, but there is still no mobile version available. Therefore, users continue to hope for a mobile version in the near future.
