- High-quality free-range chicken: 1 whole
- Chinese herbal medicine packet: 1 pack
- Turnip: 1 bulb.
- Tofu: 3-4 blocks
- Assorted Mushrooms: Shiitake, Enoki mushrooms (each type approximately: 100 grams).
- Seasonings: Scallions, ginger, salt, fish sauce, broth cubes, sugar, MSG…
- Side Vegetables: Chrysanthemum greens, mugwort, Chinese chives, water spinach… (according to preference).
- Fresh Rice Vermicelli 1kg (can be substituted with instant noodles or pho).

Step 1: Prepare Chicken Meat
- Wash the chicken thoroughly.Separate the head, neck, wings, and feet for simmering with broth; this enhances the flavor of the hotpot, making it more delicious and savory.
- Blanch the chicken bones in boiling water before cooking, and cut the chicken meat into bite-sized pieces, arranging them on a separate plate.
