Mount Faber, originally known as Telok Blangah Hill – the second highest hill in Singapore and the park atop the hill named Mount Faber after Captain Charles Edward Faber in July 1845. The 0.8 km trail at Mount Faber, also known as Mount Walk, winds through the hilly terrain offering a spectacular panoramic view of the southern islands and the entire southern part of Singapore. As part of the Southern Ridges, the park includes Kent Ridge Park, HortPark, Telok Blangah Hill Park, and Labrador Nature Reserve.
