Microsoft has rolled out a recent update for OneDrive on Android, bringing a substantial design overhaul and incorporating new features. Currently, OneDrive for Android boasts a dark mode, updated icons, and a design that aligns seamlessly with OneDrive for web and OneDrive for iOS.

The OneDrive app for Phone underwent a revamp in July 2019, introducing fresh titles and colors, refining navigation, and enhancing search capabilities. The web version of OneDrive also embraced the Fluent Design interface in late 2018. Now, the OneDrive app for Android has finally been revamped with refined icons and updates to enhance readability and introduce a dark mode.

The first notable refinement comes in the file view mode. Both list and grid views feature new icons and borders that provide a sense of depth. The company has also adjusted font size and spacing between files to improve readability. Additionally, the scan icon has been replaced with a camera icon for a clearer representation of its function.
