Black Ops Cold War Zombies is designed to bring both experienced and new players on a daring and terrifying journey, expanding on an iconic part of the Call of Duty series. This 4-player co-op mode features new mechanics, classic Perks, and Cold War-era Zombies weapons to help survivors clear out the undead horde.

A completely new Zombies chapter - Die Maschine
As part of Requiem - an international task force backed by the CIA and led by Grigori Weaver from the original Black Ops story, operatives will explore a bunker from World War II not only ravaged by time...
While battling to contain the unnatural phenomena within this bunker, Requiem team members investigate what lies beneath the shattered structure after decades of decay.
Simultaneously, a faction led by the Soviet Union and rival to Requiem, Omega Group, enters the fray. Omega Group also deeply concerns themselves with researching and shedding light on unexplainable events, as well as abnormal signs globally.
Similar to Multiplayer, teams in Zombies can now be formed across multiple platforms and generations, marking the first time in the history of this co-op game mode that cross-play functionality is available.
* Weapons and Battle Pass
Players can now progress through the Battle Pass by playing Zombies, similar to Multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone. Members of Team Requiem can also start battles with weapons crafted by Gunsmith that they choose via loadout support.
* Perks
Classic Zombies Perks make a return with a brand new Cold War aesthetic, including fan favorites like Juggernog and Speed Cola. There's no longer a limit on the number of different Perks you can use, so go ahead and unlock a 6-slot container if you have enough points to do so.
* Weapon Rarity
In addition to the return of the Pack-a-Punch machine to upgrade your weapons, all types of weapons will now come with associated rarity. The higher the rarity, the greater the damage inflicted and the more accessories available. For the first time, players can continue to use any weapon in subsequent rounds. This also makes discovering new weapons more diverse and exciting through Wall Buys and the Mystery Box.
* Retreat Option
Instead of getting overwhelmed by the horde, Black Ops Cold War Zombies offers a new option to escape and protect your life when you're feeling cornered... if you dare. If the whole team is in trouble, you can choose to retreat from the combat area via helicopter.
* Pre-order Bonus
Zombies is just one part of the complete Black Ops Cold War experience, scheduled to launch on November 13th. You can get an early taste of the next-gen global warfare in the Multiplayer Beta by pre-ordering from the Microsoft Store for Xbox and start playing on October 15th to 16th. Players without pre-orders can join the Multiplayer Open Beta from October 17th to 19th.
