During the Summer Festival 2024, various activities will take place, including the Opening Ceremony and Introduction of the Lao Cai Province Tourism Information Center (at the Central Square in Sa Pa District at 7:30 PM); Sa Pa Love Market, Street Festival, etc.
Amidst the cool misty atmosphere of Sa Pa tourism, travelers will be drawn into a completely different life, rustic and imbued with the spirit of Northwestern Vietnam. The vibrant street festival in the town center vividly reproduces the colorful traditional costumes, wedding ceremonies, and Tet rituals of ethnic minority groups.

Sa Pa Love Market
Traditionally held in April 2024, starting at 10 PM. The venue includes Thac Bac, Cau May, Ham Rong, and Xuan Vien streets in Sa Pa town. The Love Market features the courtship singing ritual of the Red Dao people, courtship dates, and scenes of Mong people pulling their wives.
Visitors will witness young men and women from the villages of Northwest Vietnam meeting and exchanging affections with various activities. If they find a suitable partner, they will date and bond with each other. The Love Market is where young couples meet, exchange affection for their partners in a cultural and delicate manner.

Street Festival
Last year, it started at 8:30 PM on April 29, 2020, at the Central Square in Sa Pa town, then moved to the old bus station and the intersection of Sa Pa power station. It featured folk performances of ethnic groups; Dao ethnic wedding ceremonies; Tày ethnic New Year welcoming and dance; Giay ethnic New Year ceremonies, etc.

Cloud Festival - Sa Pa
The festival took place from April 28th to May 1st, 2020, last year. The main venue was the Ham Rong Eco-tourism Area - Sa Pa Town. The Cloud Festival featured cultural performances, traditional ethnic sports competitions, culinary culture exhibitions themed 'Highland Market,' photo exhibitions of 'Sa Pa amidst white clouds,' and a mountain climbing contest conquering the summit of Ham Rong Mountain. Mong Cat Cat Cultural Festival
The festival included main activities such as: Cultural and folk art performances of the Mong ethnic group; Traditional folk games, demonstrations of traditional Mong handicrafts (blacksmithing, silver carving, brocade weaving, dyeing, wax painting on linen, bamboo knitting, weaving, knitting, etc.); Seven-color sticky rice cuisine. Last year's event took place from April 28th to May 2nd, 2020, with the opening ceremony at 9 am on May 1st, 2020, at the waterfall viewing area of the Cat Cat Tourist Area.

Exploring the Cultures of Tả Phìn Commune and National Cultural Heritage Declaration Day
Last year, the festival was held on April 28, 2020, in Tả Phìn Commune, Sa Pa District.
