From April 20th to May 5th, 2014, Northern Helicopter Company will conduct test flights in Quang Binh to serve tourists. The price for a one-hour flight is $3,400 for 22 passengers.
On March 6th, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province held a meeting with representatives from Northern Helicopter Company (Vietnam Helicopter Corporation) regarding the use of helicopters for sightseeing the World Natural Heritage Site of Phong Nha – Ke Bang.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed that from April 20th to May 5th, 2014, Northern Helicopter Company will deploy helicopters in Quang Binh to conduct test flights for tourist services.
It is known that the price for tourist helicopter flights is $3,400 per hour for 22 passengers per helicopter.
Previously, Vietnam Helicopter Corporation also conducted a survey on the development plan for emergency medical evacuation helicopter services at adventure tourism destinations, exploring the world's largest caves – Son Doong Cave in Phong Nha – Ke Bang.
