With two days and 3 million VND, you can indulge in Quang specialties, camp under the stars at Son Tra, enjoy the beach, go waterfall sliding…
Enjoy the excitement of 'letting loose' on a two-day trip to Da Nang with only 3 million VND
Summer is the perfect time for beach travel, and Da Nang is one of the popular and easy-to-reach options in Vietnam. The tourism services, from transportation, dining, accommodation, to entertainment, are well-developed and convenient for both first-time and repeat visitors.
By booking early and consulting flight comparison websites, you can purchase round-trip tickets from Hanoi to Da Nang for approximately 1.2 – 1.5 million VND. Airlines offering these routes include Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar, and Vietjet Air, with flight durations of about one hour and no complimentary snacks. You can choose to fly late the previous night or early the next morning to have more time for activities. From my ticket-buying experience, late flights tend to be cheaper.
The prices for homestays or dormitories in central Da Nang range from 100,000 to 200,000 VND per person per night. Specifically, I chose a dormitory priced at 100,000 VND because it was economical and allowed me to meet new friends, and I also opted for a late-night flight to Da Nang. For transportation, renting a motorbike in Da Nang costs around 120,000 VND per day per bike. If you're traveling within a 20 km radius, fuel costs for 2-3 days would only amount to about 50,000 VND for a scooter.
Day 1
For breakfast by the beach, there are plenty of options, but I was recommended a delicious jellyfish noodle spot for only 20,000 VND per bowl on Co Bac Street by a local friend.

When traveling to Da Nang, on your first morning, wake up early to catch the sunrise at Pham Van Dong Beach, take a stroll, and swim. Pham Van Dong Beach is a clean and beautiful public swimming spot. The beach is not too deep, suitable even for non-swimmers. The smooth white sand here attracts many young people, especially foreign tourists who enjoy sunbathing. Along the shore, there are plenty of green trees and grassy areas.
For lunch, you can explore along the coastline, drive to Bac My An Market, another interesting culinary destination. There are many snacks here, but the avocado ice cream and various types of sweet soups are worth trying, priced at only 10,000 – 15,000 VND per cup.
Lunch in Da Nang is the perfect time to savor Quang noodles and pork belly rolled in rice paper. One of the most famous places for these dishes is Mrs. Mua's eatery, with prices ranging from 25,000 to 45,000 VND per dish.

Summer afternoons in Da Nang are often sunny, if you prefer indoor activities when not venturing outdoors, you should visit some indoor attractions. And the 3D Art in Paradise Da Nang is the ideal spot to spend an afternoon exploring.
This isn't just another 'Instagrammable' spot or a regular 3D art gallery; it's a museum that preserves genuine works of art. Spanning 4,000 m2, the museum exhibits 130 meticulously crafted pieces created over 4 months by 20 seasoned artists from South Korea. Admission to the museum is 140,000 VND for adults and 100,000 VND for children.
In the evening, my friend and I joined a camping group in Da Nang to spend the night camping, stargazing, and overlooking the city from the peak of Son Tra Mountain. The road to Son Tra is wide, with few steep sections and streetlights, making it easy to navigate. Our group of 6 rented two tents, and that evening, we grilled duck and octopus ourselves, enjoying them with fruits and additional snacks. The cost for tent rental and food was 140,000 VND per person.
Day 2
In the morning, waking up in our tents, we gathered to watch the sunrise at Ban Co Peak near our campsite. The early morning atmosphere at Son Tra is serene, quiet, and truly magnificent. At 6 a.m., our group packed up the tents and returned to the city. If you have time, you can visit Linh Ung Pagoda, stop by coastal roads for photo opportunities, and admire the sea and the city of Da Nang.

The next morning, our group headed to a 'banh beo chen' stall on Chu Huy Man Street, priced at 10,000 VND for a tray of 5 dishes. Each person only needed 1-2 trays of these 'banh beo chen' to feel full.
Upon returning to the city center, whether you're a frequent visitor to Da Nang tourism or visiting for the first time, you'll always be enchanted by the markets. Han Market, Con Market are the famous shopping and dining spots in the coastal city that tourists often cannot miss. Especially Con Market, besides purchasing local specialties as souvenirs, you can also spend the entire noon exploring the cuisine, enjoying delicious dishes like 'pha lau,' 'banh bot loc,' 'banh canh,' 'nom bo...' with prices starting from 15,000 VND.
After lunch, you can head straight to Hòa Phú Thành amusement park to experience adventurous waterfall sliding. This place is about 35 km from the city center, located on Highway 14G, Hòa Phú commune, Hòa Vang district. For adults, the entrance ticket costs 50,000 VND, the waterfall sliding ticket is 250,000 VND, and the zipline is 50,000 VND. These are the two most beloved adventure activities because of the experience amidst nature, providing thrilling sensations without being too dangerous. Even non-swimmers can still enjoy. Additionally, after playing, you can relax your body with a fish massage.

Before going waterfall sliding, it's advisable to bring along a set of dry clothes, waterproof bags for electronic devices such as phones, cameras...
In the evening, return to Da Nang city, return the motorbike, have dinner, and prepare belongings for the airport. Your two-day Da Nang tour ends with many experiences from beach visits, overnight camping on the mountain, waterfall sliding, culinary exploration... all for about 3 million VND.
