A crucial point to note is that this feature is currently in the beta testing phase, so things might not work as smoothly as expected. With Microsoft Edge browser supporting the Timeline feature, users can synchronize their web browsing history on mobile devices with their Windows 10 computers.
Android users now have the capability to explore Windows Timeline within Windows 10.
This means Windows 10 users can recover their web sessions, even if the browsing session started on an Android device, as long as it occurred within the last 30 days.
On a computer, Windows Timeline can swiftly recover snapshots, encompassing activities like apps and documents. In other words, you can rewind to a specific point in time, and all your activities will automatically reappear on the screen.
Windows Timeline on iOS
Not too long ago, Microsoft also released Microsoft Edge for iOS, supporting Windows Timeline, available to users who enrolled in the TestFlight beta testing program. This feature is soon to be accessible to all iOS users.
Although there is no ETA for when the Timeline feature for Edge on Android transitions to beta, it can be anticipated that this feature will soon be available for all Android users. This is especially true with the imminent release of Windows 10 Redstone 4 by the tech giant for Windows users. The operating system update is expected to be rolled out later this month.
