(Motherland) - BeryL Provides Insights on T1's International Stage Clean Sweep
With 13 victories out of 14 matches in the LCK Spring 2023 Group Stage, T1 secured an early playoff spot. The team's streak of 9 consecutive wins has left LCK viewers wondering how to defeat T1 at this moment?

When questioned about this matter, BeryL acknowledged the challenge of defeating T1 in LCK matches at present. However, the 2022 World Championship winner also suggested that T1's current lineup may face challenges in international tournaments. The pressure from grand stages like MSI and Worlds seems to have a significant impact on the young members of T1.
“In the LCK, T1 is a team without weaknesses. When competing in the regional league, players enjoy comfort and minimal worry. However, during the finals of MSI or Worlds, the pressure is immense and greatly affects the young players of T1. At such times, they only retain about 70% of their strength” - BeryL shared.

T1's current lineup (Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, Keria) commenced playing together from the 2022 season. Apart from Faker, who boasts extensive playing experience, the remaining players of T1 are quite young. Hence, it's understandable that they are significantly influenced psychologically and face setbacks in the MSI or Worlds finals.

Viewing the positives, those failures will toughen up T1's young stars for more resilient performances. Leading the LCK Spring 2023 and in top form, T1 has a great opportunity to secure a spot at MSI this year. Perhaps, MSI 2023 could be the first international title that T1's current lineup clinches after over a year of playing together.
