II. Exemplary exposition of an event: book fair
Every year, to celebrate Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day, our district organizes a book fair. It can be said that this is a destination that attracts everyone's attention. Everyone feels happy and joyful when holding in their hands some good books.
About two weeks before April 21st, the district People's Committee issued a notice to all communes, wards, and towns in the area about the book fair with the theme 'Gateway to Knowledge.' The notice clearly stated the necessary information such as: the event lasts for three days, from April 21st to April 23rd; the location is at the district square. As the fair approached, many publishers and book companies brought countless books and materials to set up booths. On those days, the square was filled with the grayish-white color of canvas. From a distance, the rectangular booths resembled neatly arranged matchboxes, looking extremely pleasing to the eye.
The official opening ceremony took place at 9 am on April 21st. First, the MC took the stage to declare the purpose and introduce the delegates. Then, the district vice chairman spoke on behalf of the leaders about the fair. About an hour later, the opening ceremony concluded. People began to disperse, heading to the book sale area.
Depending on each booth, the arrangement and display of books varied. Through observation, I noticed that most booths chose to display based on percentage discounts: 50%, 30%, and 70%. Others arranged by categories: bestsellers, favorites, and newest releases.
As the noon approached, the atmosphere of the fair became livelier and more bustling. Since the opening day fell on Saturday, the turnout was significant. Every book stand was crowded with people browsing and buying. Some bought seven or eight books at once. They had known about these books for a while, waiting for the discounts to purchase. Others came without preparation, just picking up whatever book caught their interest. To boost sales and attract customers, many booths organized fun and educational activities such as lucky draws, lucky wheels, and accurately naming 10 books from the publisher or book company. Everyone participated enthusiastically.
The following two days saw the fair remaining incredibly busy. Visitors came from various backgrounds, professions, and age groups. Some groups of students often gathered in the children's book section. Elderly visitors preferred booths displaying classic literature, books about homeland, and the sea. Teenagers had more diverse choices.
By the end of April 23rd, most booths had been dismantled. Employees of publishing companies were busy clearing books, newspapers, and equipment. The square, which was lively and bustling just a day ago, now appeared deserted and desolate.
It can be said that the fair has left me with many emotions. I feel happy and content to have bought many good books. At the same time, I have come to appreciate the significance of such meaningful events more. Through the fair, I hope the community will develop and the reading movement will continue to grow stronger. Thus, everyone will cultivate a healthy habit: reading.

II. Sample Exposition of an Event: Phu Dong School's Health Fair
Last year, on the occasion of Vietnam Sports Day on March 27th, our school organized the Phu Dong Health Fair. Through this event, the school aims to encourage us students to maintain the habit of physical exercise, thereby improving health and physical development.
At the beginning of March, homeroom teachers disseminated important information to all students. Our class collectively selected athletes for each sport. Everyone was excited to sign up for participation.
On the morning of March 27th, after Ms. Thuy explained the reasons and introduced the delegates, Principal delivered the opening speech. In it, he emphasized the significance of the event. He mentioned that this is the Sports Festival for students, organized to continue and promote the movement of 'The entire population exercises to follow the example of Great Uncle Ho.' Finally, he reminded the athletes to play with a spirit of fair play and urged the audience to cheer enthusiastically and courteously.
The opening ceremony proceeded swiftly, lasting just over an hour. Following the ceremony, chess, badminton, and shuttlecock competitions commenced. Chess matches were held in 5 classrooms on the first floor of Building A. Participants included students from grades 3, 4, and 5; each class could register one male and one female player. The format was direct elimination: three matches, winning two advanced to the next round. Similarly, badminton and shuttlecock (men's singles, women's singles) had similar competition formats. The only difference was that they were held in the multipurpose hall. Throughout the day, athletes exerted themselves, hoping to advance to the next round. The audience cheered enthusiastically, with some classes making banners and slogans to boost morale.
On the morning of March 28th, the school held the finals for chess, badminton, and shuttlecock. Simultaneously, table tennis and track events were conducted. In table tennis, players (men's singles, women's singles) competed in 5 matches, with individuals winning 3 matches advancing. Meanwhile, track events had a variety of competitions: 50m dash, 70m dash, and 120m relay. In the afternoon, around 3:30 PM, the women's football final took place at the school's football field. The match lasted 60 minutes, plus an additional 5 minutes for stoppage time.
On March 29th - the final day of the health fair, the men's football final was held. The atmosphere remained lively and vibrant, just like the two previous days. Everyone was curious about which class would win the gold medal in the king of sports. Finally, after over an hour, the winner was announced. It was Class 5A - the class next to ours.
Also on March 29th, the closing ceremony took place. The Principal, on behalf of the teachers, referees, and parents, delivered speeches and shared thoughts. This was followed by an awards ceremony. Our class was fortunate to be included in the list of awardees, receiving silver medals in women's singles chess, women's singles badminton, men's and women's relay races; and gold medals in men's singles chess.
The Phu Dong Health Fair is indeed a meaningful event. It's an opportunity to discover students' athletic talents and abilities. Through this fair, I have a better understanding of the importance of exercise and improving health. From here on, I remind myself to maintain a daily habit of physical exercise.
