The expedition led by the British Cave Research Association (BCRA) recently surveyed and discovered an untouched cave system spanning over 3.3 km in Quang Binh.
Discovery of Untouched Cave Exceeding 3.3km in Quang Binh
Quang Binh is renowned as the 'kingdom of caves' with numerous large, beautiful, and pristine caves. The BCRA exploration team, during their survey in the limestone mountainous region of Lam Hoa commune from March 12 to 16, uncovered a pristine cave system.

The team identified and explored five caves in Quang Binh: Hung Tru 1, Hung Tru 2, Hung Tru 3, Hung Ka Vong 1, and Hung Ka Vong 2, totaling 3,349m in length.

All caves in Quang Binh are of the wet type, with some having dry branches. Notably, Hung Tru 1 is 1,919m long and 11m deep; Hung Tru 2 spans 502m with a depth of 25.8m; Hung Tru 3 measures 153m in length and 11.4m in depth; Hung Ka Vong 1 is 238m long with a depth of 2.8m; and Hung Ka Vong 2 has a length of 537m and a depth of 5m.
