Train Market stands out with its enormous collection of vintage items. As you explore the market, you'll encounter a showcase of original cars, motorcycles from the 1950s, French chandeliers, or even vintage leather jackets. All are guaranteed authentic, sourced from various places worldwide such as the USA, Europe, and Thailand. While you can't touch the products, feel free to capture moments posing next to these treasures, just be mindful not to damage them.

Beyond the typical market boundaries, this place is a hub for lively bars and pubs, always bustling with Thai locals and international tourists. Those averse to cigarette smoke will find solace in the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, nearly devoid of tobacco or any other kind of smoke. With a Thai beer or tea in hand, you can immerse yourself in conversations with friends, sway to the vibrant tunes of live music bands.
Even if you're not a shopping enthusiast, strolling through Train Market is a delightful experience. The sparkling beauty of neatly arranged stalls, the genuine smiles of the sellers, and the courtesy extended by both vendors and visiting tourists create a warm and exciting atmosphere that will make you lose track of time from the moment you step through the market gates.
Due to its distance from the city center, in 2015, a mini version of Train Market named Second Train Market emerged on Ratchadaphisek Road to cater to the exploration needs of tourists. Though not as extensive as the original market, Second Train Market can still satisfy visitors with its design, similar items, and convenient access from the MRT Thailand Culture Center station, right behind the Esplanade shopping center.
Additional information for visiting Train Market at night:
Opening hours: 5:00 PM to midnight, from Thursday to Sunday.
Address: Srinakarin Road, Soi 51 (behind Seacon Square).
Directions: Purchase a BTS ticket and alight at On Nut station (the nearest stop), then take a taxi (costs around 65 baht, over 40,000 VND) to continue to Srinakarin. If not taking the BTS, tourists can take a taxi directly to Train Market, but be aware of the risk of traffic jams and the difficulty in finding metered taxis during rainy weather.
Note:
If you find something you love at Train Market, don't hesitate to buy it, as it may take a considerable amount of time to come back and find it again.
Avoid spending too much time on food stalls near the market entrance, as you might not have time to explore the entire market, lively bars, or other dining spots deeper inside.
During the rainy season, consider bringing a pair of shoes when visiting the market to prevent potential flooding of the ground.
