Directions to Dai Tong Lam Pagoda
From the center of Vung Tau city, head northeast on 30/4 Street, then turn onto Vo Nguyen Giap Street/QL51.
To get here, turn left at Phuoc Trung Gas Station onto Tran Xuan Do, then take the first exit at the roundabout onto QL51. Drive about 18km then turn right at Cai Mep Port, pass by Chuan De Pagoda, turn left at the wholesale coffee shop, and continue for about 2km. Then ask local residents for precise directions.

Unique architecture of Dai Tong Lam Pagoda
Established by Most Venerable Thich Thien Hoa from An Quang Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh City in 1958 and following the Northern Zen sect. The temple features many Buddhist architectural structures and numerous Buddha statues, Bodhisattva statues built in characteristic architecture. Most notably is the garden of Nine Levels of Bliss statues with 48 statues of Amitabha Buddha, each 3.3m tall and weighing 3.5 tons.

Adjacent to the statue garden is the Three Holy Saints Monument standing proudly amidst the vast expanse of land and sky. The monument consists of 3 Buddha statues: Amitabha Buddha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, symbolizing the virtues that people aspire to achieve.
Next is the ancestral shrine area with a 2-story building covering over 4,000m2. In front of the shrine is a statue of Maitreya Buddha carved from a single block of granite weighing 40 tons, standing 5.1m tall. When visiting the structures at the pagoda, you will have the opportunity to admire 9 stone statues made of granite.
