Many adventurers from Da Nang, Hoi An to the Central Highlands, passing through the mountainous district of Phuoc Son, Quang Nam along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, insist on visiting Dak Ga Stream to enjoy its cool, refreshing water and admire the pristine beauty of the area.
Travel along the Ho Chi Minh Trail? Don't forget to stop by Dak Ga Stream

Located about 15km from Khâm Đức town, Dak Ga Stream (Long Vien hamlet, Phuoc My commune, Phuoc Son district) lies near the Ho Chi Minh Trail connecting Quang Nam and Kon Tum provinces, boasting a pristine, mysterious beauty that locals liken to a 'fairy' in the Truong Son forest.
Many adventurers insist: 'If you're in Phuoc Son and haven't visited Dak Ga Stream, it's like you haven't been here at all. Travelers always come to this stream to relax and enjoy the scenery.'
The stream is about 500m from the Ho Chi Minh Trail, winding through the hamlets of the Xe Dang ethnic people.

Dak Ga Stream originates from the towering Ngok Atoon peak situated behind Long Vien village amidst vast expanses of lush green virgin forests.
Amidst rows of ancient trees, the stream emerges, its white foam glistening. Large white and silver rocks are arranged together, forming steps descending from high to low. There are numerous small and shallow pools along the stream, with clear water.
Local residents in this area claim that this stream has nurtured countless generations of the Xe Dang people.

Upon reaching the stream, tourists can immerse themselves in the cool, emerald-green water. After a refreshing swim, they can sunbathe on large rocks, admiring the pristine natural scenery and listening to the chirping of birds.
Spanning the stream is a wooden suspension bridge crafted by local villagers to traverse from one bank to the other.
Dak Ga Stream serves not only as a delightful retreat for local residents during weekends and holidays but also as an intriguing destination for adventurers and travelers from Da Nang, Hoi An to the Central Highlands via the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Mr. Pham Phuoc Hung (32 years old, an avid adventurer) - says this place is truly fascinating. He and his friends often stop by when traversing the Ho Chi Minh Trail to explore, bathe in the stream, and continue their journey.
'The cool, crystal-clear stream, the pristine natural scenery, are all worth visiting for' - Mr. Hung remarked.

The most fascinating discovery at Dak Ga Stream is nature's gift of two streams, one hot and one cold, throughout the year.
The hot water stream is channeled by the villagers through pipes from the mountaintop, with a temperature just warm enough for travelers to bathe in after cooling off in the cold water.

After strolling around the stream, admiring the beautiful natural scenery, immersing oneself in the cool, refreshing stream, then bathing in the hot water, that's a feeling not easily obtained.
