The storyline mode of Fast & Furious Crossroads introduces you to 2 new street racers, Vienna Cole (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Cam Stone (Asia Kate Dillon), who are forced to operate covertly after escaping a Miami catastrophe. When one of their family members faces trouble, they are drawn back into the world of street racing and must seek help from an old friend - Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez).
As things spiral out of control, they realize their issue is connected to an extensive investigation that Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) are conducting. This pushes the 2 teams into a collision course for revenge and justice, witnessing them engage in spectacular action-packed races we've come to love from the movie franchise. Most of the action scenes and settings you'll experience are inspired by previous films, from attempting to hijack a speeding truck to assaulting a train and causing chaos by dragging a massive object behind while driving.
This is more than just a racing game - your driving skills will be pushed to the limit as you evade, chase, heist, rescue, and work as a team to survive. No leisurely strolls, no events to explore - just relentless action as you play cat and mouse with the new antagonist Emil Ormstrid (Peter Stormare).
Another crucial element is 'family', so in missions, you'll need to collaborate with your team members and switch between characters in real-time to accomplish immediate tasks. Each character favors specific car types like US Muscle, '60s/'70s Classics, Supercars, and Electric, and each car type comes with a range of recognizable gadgets from the movies like harpoon guns, electric exhausts, hacking devices, spiked wheels, and more.

Online Ops is where you can hone those skills with two of your buddies as you attempt to take down opposing teams and claim victory in game modes like 'APB,' 'Rescue,' and 'Search & Destroy.' Win, and you'll earn XP to unlock new cars, paint jobs, decals, license plates, spray cans, profile customizations, utility upgrades, and Fast Family content, taking you behind the scenes in the game development process.
