With minimal human intervention, islands like Con Dao, Nam Du, Cu Lao Cham... still retain their charming coastal beauty.
Nam Du Islands
Nam Du is an archipelago in Kien Giang Province, approximately 60km from the mainland, consisting of around 21 islands, with the largest being Cu Tron Island (about 14km2) boasting the highest peak and a lighthouse station atop.

The quickest way to reach the islands is by high-speed boat from Rach Gia, taking around 3 hours per trip (except during rough seas). There's one trip per day, departing from Rach Gia in the morning and returning in the evening.

Embarking on an exploration of Nam Du archipelago is simple, starting with a short climb to the lighthouse peak to capture the island's beauty and witness the sunrise. Then, wander to the stunning beaches, learn about local life and activities. Snorkel to admire coral reefs and various fish species (no services available on the island, so bring your own snorkeling gear or rent a boat).

The ultimate and most important part of the tour itinerary is getting on a boat, swaying to the various islands such as Hang Island, Moc Island, Tre Island, Dam Island, Ong Island, Dau Island, and Ngang Island, exploring their unique and common features, their pristine and majestic beauty, destinations less traveled by tourists.

Note: The first thing to do when setting foot on Nam Du is to report to the border police before freely exploring the islands. There is only one guesthouse on the main island. However, you can camp or hammock anywhere you like with peace of mind.
Cu Lao Cham
Cu Lao Cham is a group of islands located in Tan Hiep commune, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, about 20km from Hoi An and 40km from Da Nang city.
Although not far from the center of Da Nang city, to reach this destination, you have to change transportation modes, taking a bus, then a taxi, and finally a boat. Alternatively, if you're already in Da Nang, you can purchase a day tour from travel agencies.

Cu Lao Cham is wild and romantic with stunning beaches, clear water, white sand, and gentle waves. Besides swimming, enjoying fresh seafood, especially the unique and delicious stone crab, tourists can also participate in diving services to admire soft coral reefs and colorful fish.

Landmarks like Hai Tang Pagoda, Ong Tomb, Ba Temple... are also worth visiting when you're here.
Con Dao
Con Dao is an archipelago and also a district under Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Con Dao or Con Son is often used to refer to the largest island in this archipelago. In Vietnamese history before the 20th century, Con Son Island was often called Con Lon or Con Non. The old names in English and French documents are Poulo Condor.

From Cat Lo Port - Vung Tau, you can reach Con Dao by Con Dao 9 and Con Dao 10 boats, the boat schedule is updated monthly. The travel time from Vung Tau to Con Dao is about 12 hours. Additionally, you can fly to Con Dao from Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, and Hanoi.
If in the past, Con Dao was known as a 'hell on earth', nowadays, mentioning Con Dao, people think of the surprising visit of the Angelia - Brad Pitt couple, to the famous paradise resort and the prestigious destination listed in the top 10 most mysterious islands in the world.

Con Dao is wild and beautiful with steep cliffs beside pristine beaches and emerald water, dense forests, white sandy shores, and home to sea cucumbers, dolphins, sea turtles, and coral reefs.
Ly Son Island
Ly Son District, also known as Cu Lao Re, is an island district separated from Binh Son District of Quang Ngai Province. The district covers an area of approximately 9.97 km² with a population of over 20,460 people. It consists of 3 islands: Big Island (Ly Son, Cu Lao Re), Small Island (Cu Lao Bo Bai) to the north of Big Island, and Mu Cu Island to the east of Big Island.

The island is the remaining trace of a volcano with 5 craters, formed about 25 - 30 million years ago. There are three national relics on the island: An Hai village communal house, Am Linh Pagoda, and Hang Pagoda. Sa Huynh cultural relics have also been found on the island, such as Chinh stream, Oc hamlet, and especially traces of Cham-pa culture.
Travelers from Quang Ngai City can take National Highway 24B to Sa Ky Port, then take a high-speed boat to the island and rent a motorbike to visit the relics on the island. When exploring and staying on the island, tourists can enjoy seafood dishes and specialties unique to the island such as garlic salad, anchovy salad, and sea urchin.

Ly Son is stunning with the deep blue of the sky, coconut trees, and garlic fields casting shadows on the majestic volcanic rock formations. The island also captivates visitors with its pristine, beautiful beaches, and small and large coral reefs...
