Himeji Castle
Recognized as a national treasure of Japan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Himeji Castle reopened on March 27 after five years of restoration work on its watchtower. The freshly painted castle walls have been restored to their pristine white color, truly befitting its title of the 'White Heron Castle'.
Kobe City
