Day 1
– Take the Air Asia flight from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur departing at 9:20 AM from Noi Bai Airport and arriving at KLIA2 at 1:40 PM.
Explore the heart of KL Sentral using either the Sky Bus (priced at 9.5 RM per person) or opt for the KLIA Ekspres (at 35 RM per person).
Upon reaching KL Sentral, head to 33 Star Hotel in Bukit Bintang using either a taxi with a voucher (17 RM for a 4-seater) or take a stroll to Monorail KL Sentral, get off at MR6 – Bukit Bintang (2 RM per person).
Indulge in the vibrant shopping hubs of Bukit Bintang such as Pavilion, Fahrenheit, and Lot 10.
Experience the evening delights at the culinary haven, Jalan Alor.
Day 2
Embark on a journey to the charming city of Malacca (Melaka).
– Start your adventure at Monorail Bukit Bintang station, heading towards KL Sentral to reach Monorail Hang Tuah (MR4) station.
– Transfer to the Ampang line at Hang Tuah station (ST3), board the train to PH5 station – Bandar Tasik Selatan. This station is also the electric train station at the new bus terminal Terminal Bersepadu Selatan.
– Purchase tickets from Transnasional bus company, priced at 13.6 RM per person, for a 2-hour journey to Melaka Sentral. Upon arrival, take bus number 17 to the center of Malacca – the red church, approximately a 20-minute ride.
– Walk to the Melaka River Cruise boat station for a 45-minute river cruise, priced at 15 RM per person.
– Have lunch in the historic Jonker Walk, savoring the famous Chicken Rice Ball dish.
– In the afternoon, explore the city on foot, visiting famous landmarks such as Cheng Hoon Temple, St. Paul's Church, the ancient fortress Porta de Santiago, and more.
– Take bus 17 back to Malacca Sentral from the iconic red church area in Malacca. Purchase Transnasional bus tickets to return to KL Sentral.
– Evening stroll in Chinatown, explore Central Market: From KL Sentral, board the LRT Kelena Jaya line from station KJ15 – KL Sentral to KJ14 – Pasar Seni. Walk to Chinatown from there.
– Returning to the hotel: From station KJ14 – Pasar Seni, head to KJ12 – Dang Wangi, transfer to the Monorail Line at station MR8 – Bukit Nanas, then return to MR6 – Bukit Bintang. Note that the line transfer section requires exiting the station.
Day 3
– Morning ride on the train to KL Sentral, go to the basement bus stop to purchase tickets for the Genting Highlands at the counter.
– Explore the casino and enjoy the indoor and outdoor entertainment areas in Genting Highlands.
– Afternoon bus ride back to KL Sentral.
– Explore the central shopping area Mid Valley (purchase KMT Komuter tickets to Mid Valley) at KL Sentral.
Day 4
– Opt for the Hop on Hop off tour by double-decker bus, get a one-day pass for 45 RM/person. The bus departs at 9 am and concludes at 8 pm. Avoid waiting at stop 6 – Bintang Walk, right next to Lot 10 shopping center.
– Visit the following attractions: KL12 – National Museum, entrance fee 5 RM/person; KL13 – National Palace, exterior viewing only for photo ops; KL16 – National Mosque; KL17 – Independence Square, make sure to visit Kuala Lumpur City Gallery; conclude the journey at stop KL23 – KLCC to explore the Petronas Twin Towers and shop at Suria KLCC mall.
– Evening subway ride from KJ10 – KLCC in the Suria KLCC center to KJ12 – Dang Wangi, transfer lines to MR8 – Bukit Nanas and head to MR6 – Bukit Bintang.
– Prepare for a seamless hotel checkout, catch a bus at the terminal in KL Sentral to reach the airport.
Day 5
– Embark on the 6:30 AM flight from KLIA2, Kuala Lumpur, heading to Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi, arriving at 8:50 AM.
