Once the fragrant and complex broth is ready, our group added an array of dipping ingredients. With over 40 diverse options on the menu, you can indulge in a variety of choices such as American beef, chicken, pork ribs, pork, beef tendon, calf marrow, catfish, squid, shrimp, razor clams, and a selection of fresh vegetables and mushrooms. They even have spoon lettuce – a rare greenery in Hanoi only served by a few upscale hotels, as we were told. According to the owner of Coc Hotpot, they had to personally go the extra mile to import this unusual fresh produce all the way from Dalat to satisfy the discerning palates.

What I (and many others) love most about Coc Hotpot is the rich and distinct flavors of their broths, creating an unforgettable dining experience. Many attribute this to Mr. Dong, the owner of Coc Hotpot, who brings years of culinary expertise to the table. Each dish served to the customers must meet high-quality standards. Following his advice, our group of 13 opted for 4 different broth flavors to savor the essence of this renowned eatery. After careful consideration, we concluded that the snail hotpot and Thai hotpot were the most delicious, worth trying from the very first visit.

What sets Coc Hotpot apart from other places is the ability to indulge in various hotpot options and be in control of selecting dipping ingredients based on personal preferences. Unlike many establishments, here you get to choose not just one type of broth but also the accompanying ingredients for dipping.

In addition to hotpot, Coc Hotpot also offers a variety of ready-to-eat dishes such as salt-grilled frog, stir-fried frog with bamboo shoots, salt-grilled chicken, and mango spring rolls with shrimp and meat.... Alongside, Coc Hotpot serves refreshing beverages, including a peculiarly named drink: “mương water.” I'm not sure why the owner chose such a quirky and unusual name, but one thing's for sure – you'll easily get addicted to it!!!

If you've ever been here, you won't need to wonder why Coc Hotpot is so crowded. It's simply because here, guests can enjoy delicious meals with family and friends without worrying too much about prices. Main dishes start at only 39k, and additional dipping items like vegetables or mushrooms are just 15k per basket. Therefore, students, office workers, or laborers can comfortably come here and enjoy the selected dishes with ease.

The staff here are quite youthful and quick, displaying courteous manners towards customers. While the service may be slightly delayed during peak hours, the employees maintain a polite and friendly attitude, leaving hardly anyone bothered about the wait.
