Thung Khe Pass
Thung Khe Pass, also known as White Rock Pass, is situated on National Highway 6, from Hoa Binh City to Mai Chau. This pass offers incredibly beautiful scenery, with white rock slopes visible from a distance, creating a majestic panorama. Along the way, there are several stopping points where you can rest, admire the scenery, and savor the local specialty, mountainous bamboo-cooked rice.


Hang Kia
Located about 30km from Mai Chau town, due to its altitude of 1,200 - 1,500m above sea level, clouds almost envelop this place year-round. Tourists often seek out this spot for cloud hunting. Local residents also cultivate numerous flowers here for tourists to capture photos with the wooden bridge. The ticket price to access the Hang Kia cloud hunting spot is 20,000 VND.



Pa Co Market
The market gathers every Sunday weekend. It's a unique cultural characteristic of the locals here. Not only is it a place for trading goods, but it's also a venue for cultural exchange among the local people. The market runs from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Local products of the Hmong, Thai, and Muong ethnic groups are extensively available at the market.



Lac Village
A tranquil village where the rich cultural heritage of the White Thai people is deeply ingrained. Lac Village has existed for over 700 years. Initially, the village residents relied solely on rice cultivation and weaving. Later on, as the beauty of the area was discovered, tourism began to flourish, turning Lac Village into a key tourism hub in Mai Chau.


Thai Cultural Artifacts Exhibition House – Mai Chau
The house holds and preserves a plethora of tools belonging to the Thai ethnic people collected by Mr. Kieu Van Kien. Over the past 10 years, he has traveled across regions inhabited by the Thai people to study, collect, and promote ancient cultural values in order to preserve them for future generations. Finally, in 2012, he obtained permission from the authorities to establish the Thai Cultural Exhibition Point in Mo Village, Chien Chau Commune, to exhibit and introduce to tourists.



Moluong Cave
Located near National Highway 15, this cave, formerly known as Boluong Cave, in Thai means a large water stream originating from the Pu Kha mountain range. This water stream flows into the western fields, where the local people have excavated and created a reservoir named Moluong Lake.

The cave extends more than 500m into the mountain. Its width ranges from 1m to 30m, with an average ceiling height of 10m and a maximum height of 30m. There are two main entrances to the cave: one facing northwest overlooks Mai Chau Inn accessible by road; the other facing west overlooks Moluong Lake accessible by waterway.

Hai Son Mural Village
The reason why this place is called the mural village is because along the walls lining the 800m-long road in Hai Son hamlet, Mai Hich commune, locals have adorned and transformed them into a vibrant mural street, brimming with colors, imbued with the cultural essence and characteristic scenery of the region.
