In November 2017, the Buddha statue within the Ecotourism and Spiritual Complex project at Linh Phong Pagoda, Cat Tien Commune, Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh Province, was inaugurated after nearly 2 years of construction for the statue's shell. The project commenced in 2009 in several phases.
The statue is designed atop a lotus tower situated halfway up a mountain, at a height of 129 meters above sea level. The Buddha faces the East Sea, with the highest mountain peak in the Nui Ba relic complex behind. The seated Buddha statue of Thich Ca is the tallest in Southeast Asia, standing at 69 meters tall and 108 meters high (including the lotus tower). The statue's pedestal has a diameter of 52 meters, and the temple is designed and built inside the Buddha statue.

This project commenced in 2009, divided into multiple phases. The initial phase of the project consisted of four major constructions concentrated on construction, completed in 2016. It includes the focal construction of the Thich Ca Mau Ni Buddha statue. According to the Management Board of the Linh Phong Buddhist Spiritual Project, the Thich Ca Mau Ni Buddha statue is 69 meters tall, including the 15-meter-high pedestal; all made of cast reinforced concrete on-site. The Buddha statue is situated on a lotus tower, halfway up a mountain, at a height of 129 meters above sea level, facing the East Sea, leaning against the highest mountain peak in the Nui Ba relic complex. Below the statue are the Buddhist Dharma preaching center and Arhat corridor, Buddhist library, and Xa Loi Buddha museum, where visitors come to worship and pay homage.

This Buddhist complex sits upon a magnificent land, with lush green mountains and azure waters, backed by the sturdy Ba mountain range, facing the four-season waves of the East Sea; right on the DT 639 route passing through the northeastern part of the province; and National Highway 19B connecting Phu Cat airport to Quy Nhon City, the Linh Phong Buddhist Spiritual Complex (covering an area of nearly 64 hectares, located at Nui Ba, in Cat Tien commune - Phu Cat district, including the Linh Phong Pagoda area) will leave a strong impression on travelers visiting Quy Nhon.
