Since its inauguration, this bridge has put an end to the era of wooden boats ferrying people back and forth for many years.
Minh Thanh Pagoda, Pleiku
Minh Thanh Pagoda, Pleiku
Being the most uniquely designed pagoda in the Central Highlands, Minh Thanh is not only a source of pride for the mountainous residents but also a captivating attraction in Pleiku. Kon Tum Cathedral
Kon Tum Cathedral, also known as the Wooden Church, was constructed in 1913 by French priests and is currently used as the main cathedral, housing the episcopal see of the bishopric of Kon Tum. This church follows Roman architecture combined with the stilt house architecture of the Ba Na people – a fusion of European style and the culture of the Central Highlands in Vietnam. What sets this structure apart is that it is entirely made of ironwood, without the use of concrete, steel reinforcement, or lime plaster for painting. The intricate architectural details are meticulously carved, showcasing the natural yet grandiose essence of the local people.
Sea Lake (T’Nung Lake), Pleiku
Sea Lake (T’Nung Lake) stands as one of the most naturally beautiful and picturesque lakes in the Central Highlands. This water body is formed from a volcanic crater, stretching endlessly without visible shores. Locals liken Sea Lake to the eyes of the people of Gia Lai in general and the residents of Pleiku in particular.
Standing on the shore and gazing into the distance, you'll witness a myriad of green hues from the seawater. Perched atop a mountain, the lake provides visitors with a peculiar and distinct sensation as the sea breeze blends with the forest breeze. Riding a bike through the lush forests is the ideal way to explore the mysterious beauty within the eyes of Pleiku.
Ta Dung Lake, Dak Nong
Ta Dung Lake was originally a valley next to Ta Dung mountain, located in Dak Som commune, Dak G’long district, Dak Nong province. The journey to Ta Dung Lake is not overly challenging. After reaching Gia Nghia town, a further 48 km drive along National Highway 28 leads you to the lake.
