Thủ Thiêm Bridge spans a total length of 1,250 meters, consisting of two parts: the main bridge section and the approach section. The main bridge section comprises 5 spans and 6 traffic lanes. The approach section in Bình Thạnh District consists of four branches, each with 2 lanes, totaling 8 lanes. In District 2, the approach section is quite long, reaching 160 meters in length and equivalent to 6 lanes of traffic.

In Bình Thạnh District, there is an intersection that passes through an underpass measuring 460 meters along Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh Street, with a width equivalent to 4 lanes of traffic.
The approach road from District 2 is 280 meters long, with a road cross-section of 47 meters. The combined road has a total length of 1,460 meters, with a road width in Bình Thạnh District of 10.5 meters and slightly narrower in District 2 at 9.5 meters.
