Top 7 camping spots in Binh Thuan you definitely should experience
1. Ke Ga Cape

Ke Ga Lighthouse is located in Thuận Quý commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, 30km south of Phan Thiet city. It got its name because the lighthouse is situated on a cape protruding about 500m into the sea, resembling a rooster's head. This tourist spot attracts those who want to explore a unique architectural structure and relax in the picturesque and charming natural scenery.

Situated on Ke Ga Island, the island is rated as having the most beautiful scenery in the Ham Thuan Nam coastal area. Ke Ga Lighthouse, with its strong and towering silhouette against the deep blue sky, affirms its position amidst a stunning seascape. The emerald color of the sea blends with the light blue of the sky, the white of the long sandy beaches, and the green of the sunflowers and the pink-and-white granite cliffs, creating an indescribably alluring, pristine, and tranquil atmosphere.
2. Cam Binh Beach

Located near National Highway 55, Cam Binh Beach in La Gi is a newly attractive destination for travelers. It serves as a convenient stop for tourists traveling from Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau towards Phan Thiet city.

Here, you can observe the activities of the fishing village after a night of casting nets with coracles at sea. Witness the fishermen bringing in their harvest, and buy fresh seafood at surprisingly low prices to grill and enjoy right on the beach.

3. Ham Thuan Lake

Ham Thuan Lake, located in Da Mi commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province, is part of the Ham Thuan - Da Mi lake system originating from the La Nga river. With an area of approximately 2,500 hectares, the lake features numerous small islands emerging like a miniature Ha Long Bay. The lake's water is clear and green like an emerald. The surrounding mountains embrace the lake, winding around it, creating a poetic, beautiful, and serene landscape. There are 8 islands of various shapes in the lake, covered with lush greenery resembling giant bonsai sculptures.

According to the locals of Da Mi, the lake is home to many large fish and is a favorite spot for professional anglers. Here, you can buy locally caught fish from the heart of the lake, and enjoy some liquor in the cool atmosphere amidst the serene nature. Additionally, visitors can explore other attractions in Da Mi commune, such as the 9-tiered waterfall and the misty waterfall. The scenery here is as beautiful as a fairyland.
4. Yen Cape

Yen Cape is a rugged rock promontory, about 30m above sea level. You can set up camp right on this rocky promontory to marvel at nature. Under the vast sky, with the sea waves crashing against the large rocks below, it creates a majestic and heartwarming scene. Camping overnight at Yen Cape gives you the perfect feeling of immersing yourself in nature. The beach here is very secluded, allowing you to comfortably soak, play, and frolic in the crystal-clear, refreshing water. Please note that there are no freshwater bathing facilities.

On a clear moonlit night, with the tranquil sea, nothing is more wonderful than casting a line from the rocky promontories, catching and grilling fish right on the spot. If you're lucky, you might catch cowfish, a type of fish that only lives in coral reefs. After removing the charred outer layer, savor the firm and flavorful fish meat. Early the next morning, it's delightful to sit in the tent, peel back the flap, and bask in the first rays of sunlight. In the distance, the sun slowly rises above the sea, casting a layer of glorious golden light over Yen Cape.
5. Hoa Thang Sand Dunes

Although not as high as in Mui Ne, the Hoa Thang Sand Dunes boast unique shapes and unusual formations. Among the dunes in Hoa Thang, the sand dune named Virgin is renowned as the 'number one sand dune in Vietnam' by the nation's artistic photographers. It's characterized by its pure white color, slender and alluring figure, serving as the creative inspiration for many photographers.

Amidst the vast sand dunes are two large ponds brimming with water year-round, adding a distinctive touch to the picturesque and charming natural scenery. The large water ponds stretch over 4km, divided into two sections: outside is the long Bau Ong, inside is the wide and deep Bau Ba... adorned with lotus flowers and water lilies blooming throughout the year. According to legend, these two water ponds were formed during the time of Le Loi, as the locals here built embankments for the army to pass through, convenient for protecting the homeland. At Hoa Thang Sand Dunes, besides camping, visitors can participate in exciting activities such as tug-of-war, fishing, and thrilling sand sliding, appealing to all ages.
