Makeup Essentials
1. Lipstick

2. Foundation
Air Fit Nude A’pieu - $12.50
This is hailed as the Dior Nude Air Foundation dupe, featuring a bottle design with a built-in tube for extracting liquid from within, closely resembling its counterpart in appearance and name. Each bottle contains 18g of product, sealed tightly with a petite cap, packaged securely in a sturdy box for easy pocketing without the worry of spillage. This foundation applies incredibly naturally, appearing virtually makeup-free yet leaving the skin smooth and moisturized, without heaviness or cakiness. It blends effortlessly, providing full coverage for a radiant and smooth complexion.
3. Mascara
Volum' Express Hyper Curl Mascara - $11.80
This mascara creates the illusion of thicker, curled lashes, enhancing the allure and sparkle of your eyes for up to 18 hours. Its non-smudging, non-clumping formula and flexible brush make application a breeze.
4. Setting Powder
Shieshido Baby Powder - $14.50
This powder effectively controls oiliness, leaving the skin smooth and dry for 3-4 hours before needing a touch-up. It's lightweight and suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin types.
Skincare Essentials
1. Toner
Evoluderm - $13.00
This toner is gentle and alcohol-free. Its remarkable benefits include tightening pores and balancing pH levels, leaving the skin soft, moisturized, and free from dryness or tightness.
2. Facial Cleanser
Hada Labo Anti-Aging - $7.00 (approximately!)
This cleanser provides excellent moisturizing properties without drying out the skin. It achieves an 8/10 in terms of cleansing effectiveness, and with consistent use, it leads to brighter skin over time.
3. Exfoliator
Vedette Tea Tree - around $3.00
I really like this one, it cleanses and brightens the skin without causing irritation. It also moisturizes well. After using it, my skin feels very smooth, especially in areas with rough texture or blackheads, which suddenly become smoother and less noticeable.
4. Face Moisturizer
Rebirth Sheep Cream - $18.00/30g
Compared to other products at the same price point, I prefer this one the most. It's very effective at moisturizing. Many people who've used it for a long time say it helps fade freckles and dark spots quite effectively. (I haven't personally tested this)
5. Body Moisturizer
Vaseline - $16.00
In my opinion, this is the best option among budget-friendly choices. It has a gentle, light scent, not too overpowering. After using it a few times, my skin feels soft and smooth, noticeably brighter and healthier.
6. Sleeping Mask
3W Clinic Water Sleeping Pack - $12.00
This one has a gel-like texture and a pleasant, light scent. When applied, it feels very cool and refreshing. After using it, I wake up the next morning with incredibly hydrated and smooth skin.
