The Vung Tau Museum, also known as 'Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Museum', is located at 04 Tran Phu Street, Ward 1, Vung Tau City. This is a modern architectural masterpiece and a special cultural institution, preserving the historical, cultural, and social values of Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu province from ancient times to the present day.


The Vung Tau Museum leaves a lasting impression on visitors not only with its impressive external architectural beauty and preserved historical imprints but also as a unique check-in spot for many tourists.


The interior structure of the museum building consists of 4 floors: the ground floor – a spacious, airy space with a reception area for visitors to comfortably check-in upon arrival. In the middle, you'll find a comprehensive and detailed miniature model of Vung Tau, showcasing its essence and completeness. The first floor is where you'll explore the province's history, from 'Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu – Land and People' to 'Prehistoric Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu' and 'Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu during the land-opening crisis in the 17th century.' The second floor is dedicated to the history of 'Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu's resistance against the French (1859-1954)' and 'Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu's resistance against the US imperialists (1954-1975).' The third floor is where visitors learn about 'Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu's nation-building and defense efforts from 1975 to the present' and is a collection point for relics salvaged from the Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu sea.

Saturday, Sunday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Admission prices:
– 40,000 VND per person per visit.
– 20,000 VND per person per visit (50% discount for: students, beneficiaries of social policies, elderly people residing outside Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu province).
– Free admission for children under 6 years old; students, and people with disabilities residing in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu province.
