Recently, Motorola, Lenovo's subsidiary, unveiled a dynamic duo of smartphones named Razr 40 series, featuring Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. This smartphone series adopts a clamshell foldable design, reminiscent of Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip. However, in this latest iteration, Motorola has elevated both the exterior and internal components of this duo.
Compared to its Razr predecessors, the Razr 40 series introduces entirely new enhancements, positioning this smartphone as a compelling choice in the sub-20-million-VND price range.

The standout feature of the Razr 40 Ultra lies in its exterior. Embracing the trend of 'the bigger, the better' for secondary displays, the Razr 40 Ultra triumphs over the Find N2 Flip with its 3.6-inch secondary display, making it the clamshell foldable smartphone with the largest secondary display on the market.

To achieve this, Motorola ingeniously transforms the upper half of the back into a secondary display, leaving space only for the dual camera setup and LED flash. This 3.6-inch display surpasses the 3.26-inch screen on the OPPO Find N2 Flip, providing users with a more comfortable touch experience and the ability to display more content.

Not only larger in size, the secondary display on the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra boasts top-of-the-market specs, including a 10-bit AMOLED panel, 1056 x 1066 resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ and achieves a brightness of 1100 nits. Despite being a secondary screen, Motorola equips this display with impressive features comparable to the main screen.
From the images, the secondary display of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is borderless, with just a small punch-hole for the camera lens. Motorola introduces various customizations and visual effects to seamlessly integrate the camera module into the display.

The back of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is meticulously crafted from durable metal, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The frame is made of sturdy aluminum series 7000, and the hinge is constructed from high-durability stainless steel.

Weighing only around 180 grams, the Razr 40 Ultra has a slim profile of just 7mm at its thinnest point, thinner than both the Find N2 Flip and equivalent to the Galaxy Z Flip4.

For the main display, the Razr 40 Ultra features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED flexible 10-bit color panel with FHD+ resolution and a market-leading 165Hz refresh rate. Achieving a brightness of up to 1400 nits, Motorola adopts the 'notch' design for this screen, housing a 32MP selfie camera in the center of the top edge. The hinge in the middle is optimized to minimize screen creases.

The main camera setup of the Razr 40 Ultra comprises 2 lenses as mentioned earlier: a 12MP wide-angle and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle. The quality of this camera system is excellent, perfectly meeting user photography needs.
In terms of performance, the Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a flagship processor of the latter half of 2022. The device comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options. The 3800mAh battery is complemented by 30W fast charging.

The price of the Razr 40 Ultra is also a notable advantage. Despite featuring robust hardware and exceptional design, the Razr 40 Ultra has a starting price in the Chinese market of only 5699 CNY, approximately 18.9 million VND. This is considerably more affordable compared to other competitors in the same segment.
Unfortunately, Motorola smartphones are not officially sold in the Vietnamese market at the moment.
