Discover the Fairytale-Like Alberobello Village in Italy
The Alberobello village has long been famous for its houses built with stacked limestone, known as Trulli - a unique architectural style of the southern Italians. In 1996, UNESCO listed this type of Trulli architecture in Alberobello as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

The Alberobello village derives its name from Arboris Bello, meaning beautiful trees, which once was an ancient oak forest. The village boasts approximately 1,500 charming Trulli houses inhabited by 11,000 residents. These Trulli houses are designed to suit the local climate, providing cool interiors in summer and warm ones in winter.

Most of the houses in Alberobello feature dome, cone, or pyramid-shaped roofs, adorned with magical or religious symbols. The interiors of these Trulli houses are typically simple, consisting of a fireplace alcove, a sleeping area, and a few other furnishings.

Discover the vibrant Alberobello village, filled with charming shops and cozy bars where travelers can unwind. You can visit Alberobello year-round due to the wonderfully mild Mediterranean climate!
